Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough maintenance inspections on rental equipment before and after usage, checking for damage, operational efficiency, electrical resistance, current flow, safety labels, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Communicate equipment condition to the appropriate personnel for accurate customer billing.
  • Safely load and unload equipment while adhering to transportation regulations regarding dimensions and weight.
  • Clean and prepare equipment for new rental agreements or sales.
  • Demonstrate proper equipment usage to customers and ensure they are familiar with each item.
  • Perform minor repairs on rental equipment and tools safely, including cleaning contacts and relays, replacing small components, and tagging equipment as rental-ready.
  • Assist with the transportation of equipment and parts to and from vendors and other locations for procurement or repairs.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Physical ability to frequently lift items weighing up to 45 lbs.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems.
  • Possession of necessary tools for the role and a working knowledge of their use.
  • Strong collaboration and customer service skills.
