Academic Theologian

The Augustine Institute is seeking a highly qualified theologian to join its faculty as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Moral Theology.

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in Catholic theology and a commitment to serving the Institute's mission.

Competence in philosophy, Trinitarian theology, Christology, or related fields is highly desirable.

A successful candidate will be expected to make the Profession of Faith and take the Oath of Fidelity in order to receive the mandatum from the Archbishop of St. Louis.

Applicants with terminal degrees in theology or philosophy will be considered.

Applicants are invited to submit a letter of interest and CV by November 22.

After an initial review, the Institute will invite a subset of applicants to send writing samples, request letters of recommendation, and participate in a videoconference interview.

In-person interviews will be held at the Augustine Institute's campus in Florissant, Missouri.
