Key Responsibilities- Lead business transformation initiatives across the IRS and Tax Administration Division (ITA) to drive modernization and improvement of government processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and challenges, and develop strategic solutions to address them.
- Develop and deploy business processes that improve government mission outcomes and taxpayer satisfaction.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure effective use of tax administration data, methods, and technology.
- Lead by example, demonstrating expertise in one or more areas of technical relevance to the division.
- Minimum 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years' experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
- Experience in Tax Administration and business transformation.
- History of successful senior level operational leadership, including government processes, strategy development, ethics, governance, automation, implementation, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with data architecture and data management concepts and strategies, such as the data lifecycle, data stewardship, and governance.
- Ability to tailor communications to provide the appropriate level of detail to the audience, whether technical or executive.
- Executive leadership and organizational knowledge.
- Eligibility for IRS Moderate Suitability (US government clearance).
- MBA or other advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience working in a consulting role.
- Experience working with the Federal government.
- Experience as a business integration manager.
