Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee dialysis treatment from start to finish, ensuring accurate recording of patient medical information and vital signs.
  • Prepare dialysis equipment and prime dialyzers and bloodlines for patients.
  • Demonstrate expertise in removing femoral sheaths and administering medications such as thrombolytics.
  • Clean and dress permanent and temporary catheters, providing pre-and post-procedure care within the Hemodialysis Unit.
  • Draw and submit cultures and water analysis as indicated by technical policies and procedures.
