Job Summary
Quantix is seeking a skilled professional to oversee the day-to-day maintenance of our equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of liquid tankers, including VIK (Visual, Internal, Leakage), Thickness & Upper Coupler, Lining Inspections, and Pressure testing.
- Perform DOT inspections and associated repairs on trailers, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Carry out routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs of company equipment and tools, involving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions, implementing effective solutions.
- Conduct P.M. inspections to ensure compliance with DOT requirements.
- Execute other tasks and projects as instructed by the VP of Fleet Maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, testing, and parts usage, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant safety rules and regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Valid proof of cargo tank experience.
- Valid state-issued identification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field.
Compensation:
$32 - $40 per hour.
