As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will utilize ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. Your role will also include preparing patients for procedures and ensuring their comfort throughout the process.

Essential Duties:

In this position, you will be expected to:

  • Inform patients and their families about the ultrasound procedures being performed.
  • Operate sonographic equipment to visualize the targeted areas.
  • Prepare examination rooms and assist Radiologists during ultrasound-guided procedures.
  • Alert medical staff to any abnormalities that require immediate attention.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • Conduct scanning tests and document findings accurately.
  • Keep precise patient records.
  • Utilize the McKesson PACS system effectively.
Qualifications:

Applicants must possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • ARDMS National certification and any necessary state licenses.

Successful candidates should be physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods, as well as bending and stooping as required. A solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology is essential.

Additional Information: Pay packages are based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with tax-free stipends to be determined. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a supportive organization that values its healthcare professionals.
