We are looking for a highly motivated and friendly individual to join our team as a Golf Shop Host at our iconic golf course in Glacier National Park.
Compensation
$14.50/hour is the estimated salary for this role, reflecting the competitive pay in the industry and the unique location of our resort.
Job Description
As a Golf Shop Host, you will be responsible for welcoming guests to our historic golf course and ensuring they have an exceptional experience. This includes registering golfers, collecting payment, supplying rental equipment, and promoting merchandise in the golf shop.
You will also be required to maintain carts, clubs, and other equipment, make frequent rounds of the course to set and remove pins, remove trash, and note the condition of the course.
Additionally, you will assist with organizing group outings, tournaments, and events, and keep records of potential safety and maintenance issues to communicate with your supervisor.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous golf shop experience preferred
- Experience with golf tournaments and events preferred
- Work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
- Be willing and able to work solo or as part of a team
- Commitment to Safety First and highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards
- Organized with a great eye for detail
- Kind to others and always bring your best
- Good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions
