Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled and dedicated registered nurse specializing in oncology to contribute to our mission. The registered nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to adult and elderly patients undergoing oncology and primary care treatments in an outpatient environment. Key responsibilities include administering chemotherapy, intravenous therapies, injections, and investigational medications; performing venipunctures, conducting health screenings, providing patient education, and managing vascular access devices; as well as engaging in clinical research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Adapt to dynamic situations and collaborate effectively within a team
  • Maintain exceptional organizational skills
  • Utilize computer-based medical record systems (Epic preferred)
  • Showcase proficient IV and venipuncture techniques
  • Commit to working flexible shifts each week

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification, OCN Certification

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in oncology or chemotherapy nursing

Field of Expertise: Oncology and chemotherapy nursing

Compensation: Dependent on experience, with an hourly rate ranging from $45.00 to $62.00
