Job Summary
We seek a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) as a CAP 1 Outpatient RN. In this role, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective hemodialysis therapy. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills, advance your career, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Assess and evaluate patient needs, developing individualized plans of care to ensure optimal outcomes
* Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care, ensuring seamless transitions between shifts and departments
* Administer medications as prescribed or in accordance with approved algorithms, documenting medical justification and effectiveness
* Participate in emergency response measures and ensure correct laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures are followed
* Serve as a resource for health care team members, participate in staff training, and orient new staff as assigned
Requirements
* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
* Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
* Successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
* Minimum 9 months experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred)
* Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience (preferred)
