Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team on a per diem basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in improving the lives of individuals facing communication and swallowing challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy interventions across a range of communication modalities, including oral, written, graphic, and manual.
  • Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care coordination.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field from an accredited program.
  • Current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Active New Mexico Speech & Language Pathology license or current Clinical Fellowship Licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-CFY experience preferred, with a focus on neurologically impaired adults and dysphagia management.
