Experienced A&P Mechanic Wanted

We are seeking a skilled A&P Mechanic with Inspection Authorization to join our team at GPAC. As a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals, we are committed to delivering the right solutions at the right time.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair general aviation aircraft from various manufacturers, including Cessna, Beechcraft, Cirrus, and others.
  • Train and mentor junior A&Ps, promoting a culture of quality and excellence.
  • Approve annual, 100-hour, and other inspections, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and industry standards.
  • Perform all work with a commitment to quality, interacting regularly with airplane owners and customers as a senior member of the team.
  • Drive business growth through expansion of outside maintenance and hangaring services, as well as partnerships with airplane manufacturers.
  • Collaborate with our team of CFIs to develop new pilots, incorporating best practices and problem-solving techniques into flight training.
  • Ensure proper record keeping, adhering to FAA regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant and Inspection Authorization Certificates.
  • Familiarity with Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations as it relates to aircraft maintenance.
  • Adherence to all safety and industry standards.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop employees' skills and abilities.
  • EBIS software knowledge desirable.
  • High School diploma (or GED), or greater.
  • Able to perform moderate to heavy aircraft maintenance tasks, including lifting 50+ lbs, bending, reaching, and stooping.
