Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tugger Operator to join our team at DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES MFG LP. As a Tugger Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a Tugger in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Tugger in a safe and efficient manner, navigating through a high-volume manufacturing environment with forklift traffic.
  • Process Factory Transfers by successfully loading and unloading materials, adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • Handle Materials Safely and efficiently, utilizing WMS and scanning equipment to ensure accurate tracking and inventory management.
  • Learn PKMS and WMS Systems quickly, adapting to new technologies and processes to optimize workflow and productivity.
  • Work Independently with minimal supervision, meeting expectations for safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Maintain a Safe Work Environment by being aware of surroundings, preventing injuries, and promoting a culture of safety and teamwork.
Requirements
  • 0-1 Years of Experience as an industrial Tugger Operator, with a strong background in warehouse operations.
  • High School Diploma or GED, with a focus on industrial or logistics-related fields.
  • 16 Hours of Tugger Training and Certification, demonstrating a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to Perform Essential Responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations, in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including steel-toe shoes, to ensure a safe working environment.
