Amazon Freight Partner is seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL driver to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods for Amazon, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a Class A tractor with a 53' dry van trailer, transporting goods for Amazon
  • Meet Amazon's commitment to exceed customer expectations and deliver on time to facilities
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer and report any defects immediately
  • Maintain the tractor interior clean during and after the end of your shift
  • Fuel the truck before parking at the yard
  • Comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and all local/state laws
  • Follow company policy and procedures

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) that is not suspended or restricted
  • Must successfully pass DOT Physical and pre-employment drug screen
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Ability to effectively use handheld technology and smartphone apps
  • Ability to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report and good DAC report
  • Ability to work 12-14 HR shifts while driving a Class A tractor with a 53' dry van trailer, driving up to 11 hours a day
  • At least 2 years driving Tractor-Trailer Class A vehicle experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively learn and operate a GPS
  • Must be flexible with work schedule
