Position Available: Emergency Medical Technician

Location: Evansville, IN

Compensation: $29.57 Per Hour
Additional shift premiums may apply for night, weekend, or evening shifts.

Sign-On Bonus: $15K for Full-Time Positions

We are in search of dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians who are committed to providing exceptional, high-quality care and both basic and advanced medical assistance to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate each emergency situation to determine the most effective response while adhering to established Paramedic protocols.
  • Apply your medical expertise using equipment and procedures such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen delivery systems, suction devices, and intravenous therapies to administer advanced medical care.
  • Engage with patients and their families to offer information and reassurance regarding the care being provided.
  • Serve as the team leader on emergency scenes, overseeing unit management as required.
  • Operate the ambulance during emergency responses.
  • Collaborate professionally with all healthcare and public safety personnel, as well as fellow Emergency Medical Technicians.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid State Driver's License.
  • BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certification or the ability to achieve national registration within one year.
  • Driving record compliant with company policy.
  • Successful completion of Physical Agility Test.
  • Some relevant work experience, preferably in healthcare.
