As a key member of the Starlink team, you will play a critical role in developing a low latency, broadband internet system that provides fast and reliable internet to populations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Activate and operate a new ultrapure process water treatment facility, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Design and implement mechanical and fluid systems, leveraging expertise in process parameters and engineering units
  • Maintain safe and effective plant operations, adhering to industry standards and regulations
  • Develop and improve operational procedures and equipment, driving continuous improvement and innovation
  • Collaborate with internal and external counterparts, fostering strong relationships and open communication
  • Lead continuous improvement projects, identifying and implementing process enhancements and cost savings
  • Plan and budget for new processes and equipment, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Monitor area status and risks, proactively addressing potential issues and opportunities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, with a strong foundation in process engineering and water treatment
  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience, with a focus on process optimization and improvement

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of wastewater treatment experience, with expertise in mechanical equipment and systems
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their application in process improvement
  • Experience with process control systems and data analysis

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work all shifts and weekends, with a flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
  • Physical requirements, including standing, climbing, and lifting up to 25lbs, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
