Job Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for applying the art and skill of diagnostic imaging through the safe and effective use of ionizing radiation in diagnostic radiology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain patient clinical history and lab work, ensuring accurate documentation for licensed practitioners.
  • Position and immobilize patients to best demonstrate anatomical areas of interest, respecting patient comfort and ability.
  • Apply principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others.
  • Perform radiographic procedures by selecting and operating imaging equipment, and/or associated accessories to successfully complete procedures.
  • Verify informed consent and complete pre and post-procedure documentation.
  • Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures, applying aseptic surgical technique as needed.
Requirements:
  • Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) is required.
  • Associates degree from an ARRT-accredited institute is preferred.
  • State licensure is preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed.
  • BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association certification is required upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care.
  • Experience with Radiology Information System is preferred.
