Job Summary

Roundhouse Communities LLC is seeking a skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the exterior appearance of our properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and presentable to residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reports to the Community Manager or Maintenance Supervisor and receives direction, priorities, and daily assignments.
  • Sweeps and blows sidewalks, walkways, and parking lots to ensure cleanliness.
  • Cleans and maintains common areas and amenities such as courtyards, swimming pools, and outdoor grilling areas.
  • Removes trash, debris, and pet waste from the property on a daily basis.
  • Assists with snow and ice removal during the winter months.
  • Performs basic maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and painting exterior surfaces.
  • Reports any maintenance issues or safety issues to the Community Manager.
  • Maintains equipment used in the performance of this position and ensures that all equipment and supplies are stored properly.
  • Follows all safety procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook, operations SOPs, and safety labels on all equipment.
  • Maintains a professional demeanor and always represents the company in a positive manner.
Requirements
  • One year of related experience.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, team-player.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in outdoor environments in all weather conditions.
