About the PositionWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Trinity Children's Center, Inc. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, assisting with the care, education, and supervision of children aged 3-5.

Salary & Benefits
  • The estimated annual salary for this position is $48,000 - $58,000, based on education and experience.

  • You will also have the opportunity to work with a collaborative and experienced team of educators and support staff.

About the Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Teaching Assistant, you will assist the Lead Teachers and Teachers in implementing daily lesson plans, supervising children during meal times, rest time, and free play, and maintaining accurate records of student progress. You will also be responsible for assisting with walking or traveling field trips, maintaining orderliness of classrooms and playgrounds, and inspecting the school site and equipment for potential safety hazards.

Requirements
  • Applicants should have relevant experience in early childhood education or a related field, preferably with a focus on special needs or therapeutic settings.
  • A degree in child development or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Candidates must have CPR First Aid Certification and be willing to undergo fingerprinting through the Child Development Division (CDD).
  • They must also be able to lift small children up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop, and kneel to children's level, and withstand periods of time in the sun and heat outside.
