OnSpot Dermatology is seeking a skilled part-time Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team.
We are an innovative mobile dermatology practice in Southwest Florida, providing full-service dermatology care to resident communities and businesses. Our mission is to improve access to dermatologic care while making appointments convenient, efficient, and patient-centered.
As a Medical Assistant with OnSpot, you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art mobile medical vehicle, equipped with multiple private exam rooms and a mobile Mohs surgery lab. You will be responsible for:
- Rooming and intaking patients, completing medical history, chief complaint, and review of systems.
- Scribing for the provider.
- Assisting the provider during MOHS and excisions.
- Ordering additional testing as requested by the provider.
- Meticulously labeling, processing, and sending specimens to the appropriate lab.
- Scheduling follow-up appointments when needed.
- Providing excellent customer service and treating patients in a warm and friendly manner.
Prior EMA/Modernizing Medicine experience is a must. If you are a self-starter, dependable, and able to work with a team, we encourage you to apply.
We are a new concept in healthcare, bringing the practice directly to the patients to make it convenient for residents to see a provider. Our highly trained dermatology providers conduct skin cancer screenings, biopsy suspicious lesions, treat skin disorders, surgically manage premalignant and malignant skin lesions, and perform injectable cosmetic procedures.
