We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Psychologist to join our team at the Department of Veterans Affairs Gulf Coast VA Healthcare System in Pensacola, FL.
Job Responsibilities- Provide direct patient contact, including case management, psychological assessment and treatment planning, individual psychotherapy/assessment sessions, family/caregiver stress therapy sessions, and other evidenced-based treatments for serious mental illness.
- Perform evaluations for patients with a variety of psychological disorders.
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (subject to change based on the need of the agency). Telework available (ad hoc).
We offer:
- Likely starting base salary range: $83,844-$155,357
- Recruitment Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Authorized for highly qualified applicants.

- Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
- Doctoral degree in psychology from a graduate program in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), the Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System (PCSAS), or the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA)
- Completed a professional psychology internship training program that was accredited by APA or CPA
- Education or experience with providing care to individuals with Serious Mental Illness (Preferred)
- Must be highly motivated, team-oriented, and committed to the care and good health of our Veterans.
