Position Overview

The Travel Nurse RN at Skyline Health Facility plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care. This position requires a dedicated professional who is committed to meeting the diverse needs of patients across various healthcare settings.

Certification Requirements
  • Valid nursing license to practice in the State of Washington.
  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
Job Responsibilities
  • Title: Staff Nurse
  • Department: Nursing
  • Responsible for executing assigned duties and implementing prescribed treatments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Assist fellow medical staff to meet the overall nursing requirements of all patients.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited Nursing School Program.
  • Proficient in contemporary nursing principles, techniques, and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and uphold the hospital's mission and strategic vision.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Essential Functions
  • Accountable for all nursing care provided or delegated.
  • Complete the Orientation Program, Skills Checklist, and ACLS course within the specified timeframe after hire.
Unit-Specific Competencies
  • Administer medications and fluids safely and effectively.
  • Perform EKGs and respiratory therapy treatments.
  • Utilize cardiac monitoring equipment and other medical devices competently.
  • Recognize and address the psychological, social, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in emergency situations, adhering to ACLS guidelines.
  • Support the orientation of new staff members.
