Nurse Practitioner Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess and manage patients, including ordering diagnostic tests, consultations, and therapeutic interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
- Advanced certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., ACLS, BLS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
This role requires the ability to work in a dynamic, patient-centered environment, with frequent exposure to medical equipment, medications, and potentially infectious materials. The successful candidate will be able to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds, and will be required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
