Job Opportunity

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Daycare Assistant to join our team at Family daycare. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children, engaging in play and educational activities, and supporting the daily operations of the daycare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcoming and receiving children, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Participating in play, reading, and hands-on activities with children, promoting their cognitive and social development.
  • Assisting with hand washing, diapering, and feeding children, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Supporting the daycare's daily operations, including cleaning and organization tasks.
Requirements:
  • TB test and fingerprint/background check (provided by the employer).
  • Childcare certification (optional) and two professional references.
  • Basic understanding of English (not required, as we can work with other languages).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPR certification and certifications in child development education.
  • Experience in childcare or a related field.
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate ($13-$15) with a raise after 6 months.
