Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
  • Repair and Replacement: Troubleshoot and repair or replace defective equipment parts using various tools and techniques.
  • Installation and Setup: Install new industrial machinery and related components, and set up and operate maintenance shop tools for repairs or fabrication.
  • Plant Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on building structures and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Task Completion: Complete other assigned tasks by the Maintenance Supervisor, including special projects and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Mechanical Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and tools, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Operational Skills: Be proficient in the operation of maintenance machines and tools, and have prior experience in production or manufacturing.
  • Education and Certifications: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and possess industry certifications such as forklift operation, electrical technician, and OSHA safety.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Be able to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Environmental Factors: Be exposed to occasional cold temperatures and work from heights.
