About the Role: Enterprise Finance Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Financial Applications Specialist to join our Corporate Finance team. This role involves designing, developing, supporting, and administering our enterprise-wide financial processes and systems.

This position will be based in Newark, Delaware, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement. The estimated salary for this role is $100,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, enhancing, and maintaining our financial planning and reporting applications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and understand business needs and develop custom systematic solutions.
  • Implementing application and process enhancements to streamline finance deliverables and workload.
  • Ensuring applications meet established standards and business needs through testing.
  • Creating and maintaining technical and end-user documentation for finance applications and processes.
  • Providing training and support to application users and business partners.
  • Assisting with regular and ad-hoc Finance deliverables and projects.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in MIS, Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related field of study.
  • Demonstrated knowledge or experience with programming or software development and system administration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to adapt and continue to learn new concepts and technologies.
  • Ability to travel 10%.
