Lead Radiologic Technologist

Qualifications:
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Valid Radiologic Technology Certification from the State of Florida
- ARRT certification in CT, MRI, and/or Cardiovascular imaging is advantageous.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
- Preferred experience of 1-3 years in a similar role
- Supervisory experience is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
The role involves assisting in the strategic planning, organization, staffing, and evaluation of all Radiology services.
You will lead within your designated areas while adhering to the regulations set forth by State and Federal authorities.
You will share the responsibility for the formulation, interpretation, application, and execution of departmental policies, budgetary considerations, and strategic initiatives.
Achieving departmental and organizational goals and identifying improvement opportunities through the provision of high-quality diagnostic services is essential.
You will ensure compliance with Federal, State, and JCAHO regulations, while also overseeing equipment maintenance, staff licensure, and competency assessments.
Additionally, you will assist radiologists with report generation as necessary and manage staff scheduling in accordance with departmental protocols.
