We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Health and Safety Engineer to join our team at Teledyne. Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulations
- Maintain safety equipment inventory and perform periodic safety inspections
- Monitor hazardous waste removal vendors and assist in consolidating hazardous wastes
- Conduct training in emergency response and hazardous material handling
- Monitor environmental compliance and maintain liaison with regulatory agencies
- Recommend corrective action where environmental health and safety hazards exist
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate degree (AA/AS) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or a four-year occupational safety degree
- At least three to five years of related experience and/or training
- Proficiency in Browz, ISNet World, Sphera, TAPPISafe, DISA safety programs
- Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Dynamics CRM
- Ability to control and resolve high-pressure situations quickly and efficiently
