Physician Advisor Position at Multi-Specialty Health System

Marsfield Clinic Health System is seeking a Physician Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified physician with expertise in clinical documentation improvement and utilization review.
The Physician Advisor will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of clinical documentation improvement initiatives, working closely with the Clinical Documentation Specialists and HIM team to ensure accurate and complete documentation for coding and abstracting of clinical data.
The Physician Advisor will also be responsible for conducting detailed reviews of complex patient cases to ensure an appropriate plan of care and resource management, as well as providing expertise in insurance regulation and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinicians, administrators, and other stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of clinical documentation improvement initiatives
