About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at WellNow Urgent Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for preparing patients for radiological procedures and conducting X-rays with precision and care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepares patients for radiological procedures and conducts X-rays following established protocols for patient safety and care.
  • Ensures radiology equipment is functioning properly and reports any malfunctions to the department head.
  • Logs radiologic procedures and obtains pre-authorization from insurance companies for CT scans.
  • Clarifies discrepancy radiology readings with medical providers and ensures all radiographs achieve a radiographic interpretation by our teleradiology company.
  • Greets and registers patients, performs front desk duties, and assists with basic medical assisting/occupational medicine technician tasks.
  • Answers and triages phone calls, cleans and stocks the site with other team members, and maintains a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Active ARRT certification and registration, as well as applicable state licensure and a valid driver's license.
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend and twist repeatedly, and stand for up to 10-12 hours daily.
  • Excellent customer service skills, strong critical thinking, and basic computer skills, including EMR use.
