Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Observation team on a per diem basis. As an Observation RN, you'll provide high-quality patient care, coordinate care planning with other disciplines, and act as a supervisor to ensure seamless delivery of care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
  • Coordinate care planning with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Act as a supervisor, assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
  • Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
  • Participate in hourly rounding and observe safety guidelines and safe work practices.
  • May be asked to be in charge for a shift(s) and supervise other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR and ACLS certifications as applicable by Facility/by Department.
  • Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
  • Preferred experience in acute care, certification in specialty area of practice, and BSN degree.
