Role Overview:
As a vital member of our Tax team, you will play a strategic role in overseeing high-level tax functions, managing client relationships, and developing team capabilities. Your daily responsibilities will include tax planning, reviewing individual and business tax returns, building and maintaining a professional network, strategic engagement planning, quality control reviews, and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Trusts, Corporations, and S Corporations.
- Assist in tax planning initiatives.
- Oversee team training and development.
- Network with local businesses and community stakeholders.
- Manage tax engagements effectively.
- Review work papers and financial statements for compliance and review engagements.
- Provide accounting solutions for small privately held businesses.
- Contribute to firm-wide strategic planning and objectives.
- Engage in community business development efforts.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Active CPA license.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant public accounting experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.

- Familiarity with GAAP.
