Job Overview

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join a school district in Illinois. As a key member of the education team, you will provide essential speech and language services to students with communication disorders.

Estimated Salary

Ranging from $55,000 to $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Position

This full-time role offers a caseload discussed during the interview process. Onsite work is expected for the 2024-25 school year. Benefits include weekly pay, guaranteed hours, payment for direct and indirect services, liability insurance coverage, and access to health, vision, dental, and 401k benefits for full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to diagnose communication disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on these evaluations and assessments.
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and parents, to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions.
  • Attend meetings and provide reports on student progress.
Requirements
  • A valid Illinois State SLP License is required, along with a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or an equivalent qualification.
  • Prior school-based experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is also essential.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
