Job Summary:

This Certified Nursing Assistant role is a vital part of our healthcare team, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a key member of our nursing unit, you will assist with routine and repetitive patient care activities, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort for our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
• Complete necessary documents and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare patient rooms for admission, setting up IV poles and adjusting beds as needed.
• Safely transport patients and maintain confidentiality when interacting with family and visitors.
• Clean and maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
• Run errands and perform unit-specific tasks as required.
• Assist licensed personnel in providing a safe and comfortable environment, replenishing patient rooms with essentials as needed.
• Perform patient care tasks in accordance with established protocols and document on the flowsheet.
• Identify and report any changes in patient condition to the nurse in charge.
• Assist with inventory management and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Patient care experience in an acute care setting is a plus.
• CNA License in the state of employment is required, along with BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
