Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret Clinical Information: Efficiently interpret clinical information from clinical team meetings to meet radiology needs of patients.
  • Radiation Exposure Monitoring: Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity.
  • Quality Safety Practices: Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
  • Radiology Equipment Maintenance: Mechanical aptitude and confidence in troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of a program of Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
  • Licensure: Active Radiologic Technology license in good standing with the State of Arkansas.
  • Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA).
