Transportation and Care Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY: The Transportation and Care Specialist will be tasked with the essential role of safely transporting residents to various appointments across multiple facilities in the surrounding areas, occasionally extending further as required.
Under the guidance of the Director of Nursing, the Certified Nursing Aide will apply a foundational understanding of nursing principles along with basic physical assessment skills to develop and implement personalized Nursing Care Plans, ensuring that all resident needs are effectively addressed. The Certified Nursing Aide will engage in a variety of customer care activities and perform nonprofessional services that are vital for the personal comfort and well-being of the residents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The Certified Nursing Aide is mandated to complete a minimum of 12 hours of Continuing Education programs offered by the Center to maintain their Certification.
- Completion of a State-approved Certified Nursing Assistant program is required.
- A valid chauffeur's license is necessary.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- A valid driver’s license must be held.
