Position Overview:

At Dealer Specialties, we are seeking a skilled Automotive Photographer/Inspector to join our dynamic team. As a Vehicle Examination Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough non-mechanical vehicle inspections, capturing high-quality photos and videos for dealership websites, and printing buyer's guides for vehicle windows.

This is a field-based, route position that requires the ability to work independently and effectively manage time, communicate with colleagues, and adapt to various weather conditions. If you have professional experience in the automotive inspection business or as a lot porter, auto detailer, car washer, service writer, or vehicle inspector, this position may be an excellent fit for you.

The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Conducting non-mechanical vehicle inspections to ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Capturing high-quality photos and videos for dealership websites to showcase vehicles in their best light.
  • Printing buyer's guides for vehicle windows to provide customers with essential information.
As a Vehicle Examination Specialist, you will enjoy a competitive hourly rate of approximately $16-$18 per hour or 100% commission, depending on your experience and performance. Regular full-time employees are also eligible for additional benefits, including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) matching up to 4% fully vested on day one of employment, paid vacation, company holidays, sick leave, and corporate discount opportunities. You will also receive mileage reimbursement, a laptop, digital camera, and printer as part of your compensation package.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
  • The ability to work outside in various weather conditions, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in your daily tasks.
