We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our 6 South Stepdown team at Wilmington Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with hospitalists, specialty consultants, and transitional nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and emotional status, past health history, health practices, and both the patient's and the family's knowledge of their disease and its treatment.
- Manage a team of 3 to 4 medical or surgical patients per shift and work with the multidisciplinary team to achieve realistic healthcare goals for the patient and their family.
- Plan nursing care to promote patient wellness and provide patients and their families with information related to their disease process and patient education.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Delaware.
- Telemetry experience a plus.
- Progressive Care or Gerontology Certification preferred.
