Essential Duties:

Compliance Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with both Kimberly-Clark and regulatory environmental standards.
Management System Ownership:
  • Oversee the implementation of environmental and sustainability components within the management system.
Risk Management:
  • Identify and manage environmental aspects and hazards to maintain acceptable risk levels.
Objective Setting:
  • Establish and evaluate the effectiveness of environmental and sustainability objectives.
Program Leadership:
  • Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing the maturity of our environmental programs.
Strategy Implementation:
  • Effectively execute global and regional environmental strategies.
Event Investigations:
  • Support investigations into environmental events to ensure comprehensive evaluations and corrective actions.
Training Programs:
  • Ensure all employees receive appropriate training in environmental and sustainability practices.
Contractor Compliance:
  • Monitor contractor adherence to relevant standards and requirements.
Data Analysis:
  • Utilize digital platforms for environmental data analysis, ensuring data integrity and providing actionable insights.

Qualifications:

Basic:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in environmental management within a manufacturing context.
  • 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
  • Relevant professional certifications.
  • Experience in consumer products organizations.
