We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at STGi, a leading provider of detention healthcare services. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to individuals in custody within ICE detention facilities.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry, with experience in treating individuals with mental health disorders. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing medication management services. Additionally, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose and treat mental health disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide medication management services, including monitoring side effects and adverse reactions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide emergency care as needed
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from a school in the United States or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school
  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of New York
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers certification through the American Heart Association
  • Ability to pass a federal government security background check
