A reputable logistics firm is actively seeking several Heavy Machinery Technicians to enhance their workforce.

The ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in servicing a diverse range of heavy machinery and specialized vehicles within the construction and industrial sectors.

The Heavy Machinery Technician will be tasked with performing routine maintenance, chassis repairs, and the configuration of hydraulic and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and associated equipment
  • Maintain a tidy and safe work environment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and complex repairs on chassis and upfit components
  • Perform thorough inspections and quality checks on the work completed by peers
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with drive train components
  • Oversee and mentor junior staff
  • Manage inventory and collaborate with suppliers for procurement

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or 2 years with formal training
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Possession of a complete toolbox, including hand tools, air tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment
  • Advanced familiarity with standard diagnostic software
  • In-depth knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Ability to interpret and follow schematics
  • Maintain precise records of all repairs conducted
  • Valid driver’s license with the capability to obtain a Class B CDL with necessary endorsements
  • Utilize all required personal protective equipment and adhere to safety protocols
