Responsibilities:

  • Assist oral surgeons with surgical procedures, including preparing patients, maintaining asepsis, and handling instruments.
  • Provide patient care and support, including vital signs, medical history, and medication administration.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in oral surgery.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience as an oral surgery dental assistant.
  • Current RDA certification.
  • Spanish language skills (ideal but not required).
  • IV placement skills (ideal but not required).

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, working 2-4 Thursdays per month. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.

Compensation:

$22.00 per hour.
