Role Overview
The Family Support Specialist for the Butterfly Project will deliver essential case management services to families engaged in clinical support, assisting them in achieving their objectives, linking them with vital community resources, and actively participating in community outreach to improve service accessibility. In this role, you will provide in-home support to families recovering from domestic violence, covering multiple counties within the designated region. Collaboration with fellow case managers, therapists from the Butterfly Project, and community partners will be a key aspect of your responsibilities.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a closely related discipline is required.
- Experience with families affected by violence is preferred.
- Completion of a 40-hour Domestic Violence training within the first year of employment is mandatory.
- A valid driver's license, insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Job Details
- Compensation: Starting at $16.62/hr, with offers based on experience. Additional compensation may be available for bilingual candidates.
- Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance; over three weeks of paid time off in the first year, including a designated holiday period; 11 paid holidays; supplemental insurance options; and a 401(k) plan with matching contributions.
- Location: Hybrid work model, primarily home-based and community-focused, with some opportunities for remote work.
- Schedule: Full-time, hourly position with general business hours, requiring flexibility for evening and weekend family engagements.
- Student Loan Forgiveness: Our organization is recognized for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
