i9 Sports is a leading youth sports league franchise business with over 1 million registrations in more than 500 communities across the United States. Our focus is on providing a fun, safe, and convenient youth sports experience for families. This position will play a critical role in delivering this experience to our athletes and their families in Rockland County, NY/N. Bergen and S. Passaic, NJ.

About the Role:
This is a hands-on coaching role that requires excellent communication and leadership skills. As a Basketball Instructor, you will be responsible for leading practice sessions, teaching core concepts, and communicating game day information to players and parents. You will also have the opportunity to build your coaching skills and be a role model for young athletes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging practice sessions that focus on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
  • Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including Sportsmanship values
  • Communicate effectively with players, parents, and colleagues using established platforms
  • Provide exceptional customer service and consistently demonstrate a positive attitude

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of coaching experience in basketball, preferably in a youth sports setting
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some evenings
