Overview: ChristianaCare - Wilmington Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our 4N Medical Stepdown Unit.

Unit Description: The 4N unit is a Medical Telemetry department that provides care for patients with a variety of conditions affecting multiple systems, including but not limited to pneumonia, COPD, heart failure, stroke, diabetes, and urinary tract infections. Our patient demographic includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric individuals. This unit offers staff diverse learning opportunities in a dynamic environment.

Working in a mixed-acuity setting allows for ACLS certification, exposure to critical and emergent patient scenarios, and the application of evidence-based best practices. We foster a culture of professional growth and knowledge expansion, encouraging career advancement through a clinical ladder, and promoting an inclusive and open atmosphere. Qualifications:

  • Active Delaware RN License or Compact Nursing License.
  • BSN is preferred or a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of employment.
  • 1-2 years of experience in acute or sub-acute care settings is preferred.
