Job Description & Requirements
MRI Technologist - (MRI Tech)
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to operate the MRI machine efficiently, prepare patients for scans, and coordinate with physicians to ensure timely results. The ideal candidate must have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology, certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and experience with GE scanner technology. Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with medical terminology, able to stand for extended periods, and maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
- Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
- Insert IVs when necessary for the test
- Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information
Requirements
- Associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Experience with GE scanner technology
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to stand for extended periods
