Clinical Nurse

The Clinical Nurse at Oregon Health & Science University provides high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals, families, and communities in a primary care setting. This role is part of a multidisciplinary team that includes Providers, Pharmacists, and Behavioral Health clinicians.
The nurse's care delivery is guided by the Oregon Nurse Practice Act, the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, and the ANA Code of Ethics. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients with complex medical conditions and social determinants of health (SDOH) barriers.
- Performing patient visits, telephone triage, and managing an in-basket workload in EPIC.
- Care coordination and disease management are high-priority aspects of this role.
- Working in pods within a care team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
