Job Overview:

Responsibilities:
- Assist with journal entries, month-end close, and production of financial statements
- Coordinate auditor requests during financial audits
- Record depreciation and amortization of fixed assets and intangibles
- Interpret complex lease language and abstract leases into our Company's accounting application
- Analyze variances and prepare annual property budgets
- Collaborate with Property Managers on property activity
- Adhere to Healthpeak's Corporate Compliance Policies and Procedures
- Availability to work on-site 10 hours per week during academic sessions and full-time during school breaks

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree candidates with a strong background in Accounting or Finance
- Independent, self-motivated, and disciplined individual
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel
- Ability to learn new web-based programs used for day-to-day accounting
- Eligibility: Candidates must be attending a university within commuting distance of the Milwaukee area, as this role requires consistent in-office presence.

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year (dependent on qualifications and experience)
