Job Summary:

Homestead Home Health Care Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to provide care to our residents in a home health care setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, possess excellent communication skills, and foster genuine relationships with seniors.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, and other personal care needs.
  • Pass medications as directed by physicians.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including light housekeeping duties.
  • Report any changes in the resident's condition to the supervisor.
  • Communicate effectively with families, support services, and coworkers.
  • Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Experience working with the elderly preferred.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Every other weekend is required.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver's license or ID.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
