About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Preparer Assistant to join our team at H&R Block. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional client service and ensuring the success of our franchise location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, and reviewing the finished product with the client.
  • Ensure all H&R Block clients receive superior service and support.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong reading and math skills to begin and finish the tax return interview.
  • Effective communication skills in person and on the phone.
  • Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
  • Additional state and local requirements may apply.
