About the Role

This position is responsible for delivering, setting up, and maintaining specialized respiratory equipment as required. As a key member of our homecare team, you will provide expert instruction to patients and caregivers on proper use and operation of various devices.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Provide telehealth education to patients or caregivers on using specific equipment and respiratory procedures.
* Offer on-site training when necessary to ensure seamless integration with patient care plans.
* Conduct virtual follow-ups to reinforce correct usage and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
* Perform on-site visits as needed to assess patient needs and equipment functionality.
* Maintain accurate records for each patient, including all relevant information, care plans, prescriptions, and follow-up documentation.
* Collaborate with referring physicians regarding patient treatment, medical conditions, and care plans.
* Engage in ongoing education and training sessions to stay current with best practices in respiratory care.
* Interview and examine patients with breathing disorders according to their individualized care plans.
* Monitor physiological responses to therapy, such as vital signs as indicated.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong customer service abilities
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to adapt to industry-specific software
* Independent decision-making skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively amidst interruptions and prioritize tasks

Salary and Benefits

$62,000 - $80,000 per year (dependent on location)
